In addition to explaining why companies cooperate to innovate, this workshop aims to demystify the different forms of cooperation with research organizations or other companies. Participants will learn how to build cooperation by identifying the main issues in terms of responsibilities or intellectual property. They will be guided through different partnership support schemes, including direct cooperation with research actors, multilateral cooperation, also at European Level, and strategic partnerships that are shaping the European research and innovation landscape. The workshop will also introduce financial support tools, both national and European, that companies can access when performing collaborative research and innovation activities.
