More and more companies are introducing agile working methods to move away from a silo structure with specialised functions, such as HR, IT, finance to a more flexible structure with flatter hierarchies, more self-managing teams and greater interdependence between teams.
The aim here is to increase productivity, customer centricity and product innovation. It is assumed that, when this change has been managed well, and leaders and their teams are well prepared, and have been trained in the various agile methodologies, a transition to agility is easy.
However, this is not always the case as agility requires not only a skill set but also a mindset in leaders and their teams for it to be successful and benefit the company. Developing a mindset for agility has become quite a challenge for leaders and their teams as not everyone seems capable and / or willing to transition to agile working methods.
This workshop is interactive with various activities to develop team-management techniques, and you will find out more about team values and team communication, and how these influence people’s mindset, their attitudes and behaviours. Learn how you can employ this knowledge to succeed in leading agile teams.
